Hi, I'm Alit.
The story of Alit Cosmetics began back in 2011, when my skin started changing and I found myself looking for something I'd never really needed before: foundation.
Sounds simple enough, doesn't it? But at beauty counters, I felt completely out of place. Everything seemed so polished and intimidating. The choices were overwhelming, the makeup felt heavy, and I didn't quite recognise myself in the mirror.
I didn't want to look like someone else. I just wanted my skin to look a little more even, a little fresher, while still feeling like me.
Surrounded by wonderfully down-to-earth women in Western Australia, I kept thinking, surely I can't be the only one who feels this way?
Something real. Comfortable. Beautifully simple. And that's where Alit began.

That's the philosophy behind Alit Cosmetics. Products that feel light and work beautifully together. A mineral foundation you can wear sheer or build up. A nourishing face oil that doubles as your makeup base. A few good essentials, not a bathroom cupboard full of things you hardly touch.
And don't worry, we still love a bold red lip and a little extra colour when the Birkenstocks come off and the high heels go on!
