What is your return policy?
If you're not happy with your Alit purchase, we offer a full refund on all full-priced items (excluding shipping costs) returned at the customer’s expense in the condition in which they were sold within 14 days.
We also offer an exchange on any goods returned within 28 days. Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Please notify us within 7 working days of receiving your order to be eligible.
Not completely happy? Before you organise a return, we’d genuinely love to hear from you. Sometimes it’s just a quick tip, swap or suggestion that can make all the difference. Email or call us anytime — we’re always here to help and would love the chance to support you.
Do you offer returns or exchanges on used products?
Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on used or opened items unless the product is found to be faulty. Change-of-mind returns must be sealed and in original condition to qualify for exchange or refund.
How does your returns & shade-match guarantee work?

For first-time foundation clients:
Trying our BBe You Cream or Flawless Mineral Foundation for the first time? You're covered with our one-time shade-match guarantee. If the colour isn't quite right, we’ll offer you a complimentary exchange — including return shipping — within 14 days of your order.

For repeat purchases or choosing a different shade:
If you've already found your shade and decide to try a different one (against our advice or otherwise), you're still welcome to request an exchange within 14 days. In this case, return shipping costs are your responsibility, and refunds do not apply.

Please note: Shade-match guarantee applies only to BBe You Cream and Flawless Powder. Products must be returned in original packaging.

How do I return a product?
Email us with your order details and reason for return. If your return qualifies under our first-time foundation exchange, we’ll send you a prepaid return label. For all other returns, we’ll provide instructions to send your product to our HQ: 338 Walcott Street, North Perth WA. Once received, we’ll process your exchange, store credit, or refund.
Who pays for return shipping?
We cover return postage for eligible first-time foundation shade exchanges and any faulty or incorrect items. For all other returns or exchanges, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
How long does it take to process a return or exchange?
Refunds or store credits are typically processed within 3–8 business days of receiving the returned item. Exchanges are usually shipped within 48 hours of processing your return.
I received the wrong product — what now?
Oh no! Please email us at hello@alitcosmetics.com.au or call 08 6161 0617 and we’ll get the correct item sent out right away — on us.
