Our Returns & Colour-Match Promise

We’re here to help you love every Alit purchase — with a return policy designed to keep it fair for you, and sustainable for us as a small Australian brand.

First-time foundation clients:
Trying our BBe You Cream or Flawless Mineral Foundation for the first time? Enjoy a complimentary shade exchange — including free return shipping — on your very first foundation order.

Repeat purchases & alternative choices:
Once you’ve found your shade, we’re still glad to help with exchanges. However, shipping costs on returns are the customer’s responsibility after that initial match. (If you’ve opted for a different shade against our recommendation, we’ll happily assist with an exchange, minus return postage.)

Other returns:
Lightly used products can be returned within 30 days for an exchange or store credit. Return shipping costs apply.

How do I return a product?
Email us with your details and request. We’ll email you a prepaid return label if it qualifies under our first-time foundation guarantee. For other returns, we’ll give you simple instructions to send it back to our HQ: 338 Walcott Street, North Perth WA. Once we receive your return, we’ll process an exchange or issue store credit.
Who pays for return shipping?
We cover return postage for first-time foundation exchanges or if there’s ever a fault on our end. For all other returns, return shipping costs are your responsibility.
How long does it take to process a refund or exchange?
Refunds and store credits typically take 3–8 business days to appear once we’ve received your return. Exchanges are usually shipped within 48 hours of processing your return.
I received the wrong product — what now?
Oops! That shouldn’t have happened. Please contact us at hello@alitcosmetics.com.au and we’ll get the correct product out to you right away — on us.
